I'm impressed by the effort they put into this promotion.
I really want to know if the camera adds 10 pounds 'cause Mo looks kinda skinny. Is this with the 10 pounds?? Then he must be too skinny in real life.

Comments:
LMAO!! I just casually mentioned it for funsies and then they put out news.
Shaun said they're getting along well and he's enjoying Mo's coffee. Katy said she's learning about coffee from Mo.
Also I thought Mo had it bad with his hairstyle, but I'm gonna say Shaun has it worse... lol.

I thought he received this award last year, but nope it was in the first half of the year haha.
I don't think there will be many updates now that Romeo is over and he's busy filming. You won't catch me posting updates of him filming with that hairstyle I dislike lol. I guess I will post updates on filming if there's official coverage.
I saw news that Auntie Sweet opened a new branch in Mong Kok a few days ago and when googling, I learned that there's also a new one in Diamond Hill so there's a total of four now. I'm guessing he's still part of it. Extremely happy for him and his friends!

"Romeo and His Butterfly Lover" Thoughts [5] (Final)

When I write these, I have to rewatch the scenes. There are just too many scenes this week that I can't rewatch too many times 'cause they're just too heavy๐Ÿ˜ญ.

Episode 21: The CPR scene got me feeling a certain way I don't know how to explain. Or maybe I was just too shocked by the whole thing. And can we talk about Mo's grip??? Also what did they do to his hair at the end of the episode? Was this at the early stages of filming so they didn't figure it out yet? Were they trying something new? I have a feeling it was the early stages 'cause Mo and Aimee were kinda awkward and Aimee sounded choppy.

Episode 22: I really like Aimee's outfits. The style really suits her. I feel like Aimee and Kalok will make a good sibling duo in another drama. I've seen their interactions at promotions and it's kinda cute. Everyone looked so cool in the last scene. Mo's face when he's focused is extra attractive lol.

Episode 24: The way Uncle Yee was still so yappy until the very end made his death even more satisfying๐Ÿ˜‡. Timothy is just an amazing villain. We finally get a sweet scene between Mo and Aimee!! But then...๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ. I do like how they mixed the shootout scene with the treasure hunt scene.

Episode 25: Don't watch it at work, don't watch it at school, don't watch it on public transportation, just don't watch it in public 'cause you'll look like a hot mess. Also don't watch it before bed 'cause you'll get all worked up or I guess you can cry yourself to sleep. Like why are we even surprised though? I read the original story (on Wikipedia๐Ÿ˜†): Ying Toi pretended to be a guy, she was engaged to a dude name Man Choi, Shan Bak died first, she died to be with him, and then they turn into butterflies. The whole death and butterfly thing couldn't be avoided I guess. Also the whole grave scene was in the opening video๐Ÿ˜…... But I still get emotional every time I think of the scene of them reuniting. It's engraved into my brain. I guess it hits so much harder 'cause I'm looking at their faces with these feels. My babies!!

I'm so so so so so happy that Aimee made her return in this drama. I really enjoyed it. Thank you Joe, Mr. Mo, Horace, director, trainers, music producer, set builders, gaffer, actors, and everyone else who helped create this world. Joman said it was so fun to film in this world and it was equally fun to watch.

Aimee really matured as an actress. She's now too old to play those cutesy younger sister roles so I'm excited to see more of these strong characters. I hope she comes back soon. Since Mo is done filming Biz at the end of December, can Aimee start filming right after lol. My only request is not one about SWAT team, terrorists, or narcotics. As for male costars, I want to see what her chemistry is like with Bosco, Ruco, and Edwin after so many years. Hope to hear some news soon.

So in my last write-up, I shared the radio interview that Aimee did. That made me go back to reading articles and watching videos of when they started dating. Too bad there's not many videos online anymore. Recently, Aimee was on the cover of MP Weekly and they released a voice recording. I really appreciate that Aimee is always so open about her love for Mo. It warms my heart to hear those words.

Comments:
Why does he look so good?!!
A bit disappointed that Aimee wasn't there. But I get it, she's not a contracted artist.
It was so nice of him to give the prize draw opportunity to someone else. These things always seem kinda staged to me; the fact that more well known people are chosen to go up each year...
A little delay in the final write-up for Romeo. After it ended, I lost some motivation and started looking for other Mo and Aimee stuff hehe.

"Romeo and His Butterfly Lover" Thoughts [4]

I did not take notes... But I did not read spoilers for the final week so yay lol.

Episode 16 & 17: It was so fun watching Shan Bak train his left hand. So silly with the fly swatting and so cool when he finally hit the targets. He was adorbs when he won the teddy bear. I will always love that shy smile. And we finally learned that the little girl who gave little Shan Bak the bread and lollipop was little Ying Toi. I feel dumb 'cause looking back at the times when Man Choi looked at old photos of him and Ying Toi, it's the same little girl๐Ÿ˜…. But is it just me, the little girl kinda looks like Camilla.

Episode 18: Ying Toi and Ying Wah (Joman Chiang) reunite! It's funny to see netizens say they should be together. You have people wanting Ying Toi with Ying Wah, Ying Wah with Max Ton/Shan Bak, Shan Bak with both Ying Toi and Ying Wah๐Ÿ˜‚. I saw Aimee comment in Joman's Instagram post that they should work together again. Yesss!! And again, we can also consider Mo and Joman.

Episode 19 & 20: Ying Toi and Shan Bak reunite for real this time!! I had to rewatch the bed chat scene a few times. I had to focus on the facial expressions, then the conversation, and then the hands๐Ÿ˜. Like I swear Aimee was gonna scratch off some skin from his fingers ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. I recently noticed that she plays with her fingers a lot in real life so I guess since she couldn't do that, she decided to use his fingers. And I liked when Shan Bak said that he had feelings for Ying Toi when she was Ying Kiu and almost confessed his love. I miss those times already. I would ship them either way hehehe. Poor Ho Zai (Curtis Ho), but it was the only way Ying Wah would side with Uncle Yee... I'm not surprised Ying Toi lost the duel. She can finally step down from her position. However, they need to find a way to get rid of the annoying Uncle Yee.

So as I was watching, I'm so happy and excited and later upset 'cause I remember it ends next week. I'm not ready!!!๐Ÿ˜ญ

Mo did a live stream with Sharon Chan yesterday. He looked good๐Ÿ˜! Not feeling his look in Biz, but thank goodness his usual self still looks healthy and fine. Live streams are long so I didn't watch some of the previous ones. I'm catching up now. I love that he shares cute tidbits about his family so definitely watch if you're a fan. They can be found on Bilibili.

Aimee did a radio interview with Nancy Sit: Happy Family
I'm loving all these interviews. I previously mentioned that it's nice to finally get her perspective. Mo is good with remembering important dates, but trust Aimee for the deets. She said before they met, colleagues would always tell her that she and Mo have so much in common. I remember a long time ago when they were dating, she said everyone, colleagues and reporters, would tell her to really consider him 'cause he's a really good guy. I feel like these colleagues know a lot that's going on behind the scenes, like spill the tea please rofl. Aimee and Mo said a few times that Joe was planning on having Aimee in Death By Zero 2. Like can you imagine Mo, Aimee, and Ali๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ. I actually want to see Aimee and Ali work together; even an event will do. I wonder what their interaction will be like.

"Romeo and His Butterfly Lover" Thoughts [3]

Other people watching: ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜‘

Me watching: ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿฟ

Another eventful week. I should really start jotting down my thoughts right after I watch each episode 'cause I just know it's gonna be the same for the rest of the drama. I don't like reading spoilers, but I did for this drama after the first week๐Ÿ˜…. I was just too curious lol.

Episode 11: All good things must come to an end (for now). As much as I want to see Ying Toi and Shan Bak be able to show their love, I will really miss the interactions between Ying Toi as Ying Kiu and Shan Bak; the way she freely disses him and tells him off๐Ÿ˜†. I also must say in the scene where Ying Toi meets with Johnson (Wing Chun Chan), Aimee looked freakin' gorgeous and her acting was on point. I don't know what it was, but she looked different and just hot hot hot.

Episode 12: We finally get to Zone 8! Boss Lady (Joman Chiang) and her crew are fun to watch. The music for this episode was especially good - that part with the Disneyesque music got me๐Ÿ˜‚.

Episode 13: I especially liked Mo's acting in the last scene. He's been not serious for a big part of the drama, so it was refreshing to see him so calm and collected.

Episode 14: Wow! What an intense episode. I think it's smart how they used the diary to do the soliloquys. Love it when Timothy Cheng (Uncle Yee) plays a bad guys, but I think now that I know he's so hilarious in real life, I can't take him seriously anymore hahaha. Ying Toi showing her true identity was kinda a bit sudden, but I'm glad they didn't drag it. We're halfway through so it was about time. I guess with the reappearance of Shan Bak and all that was going down, she really couldn't take it anymore. And we all can agree that Aimee can rock that short hair๐Ÿ˜.

Episode 15: The scene with Shan Bak and Fiery Sis (Nicole Wan) had me rolling๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. I can see Mo and Joman pairing up in another drama - just putting that out into the universe.

There are 10 more episodes left... I don't want it to end because I'm so in love with the characters and world minus the gun violence. I did read the spoilers for this upcoming week, but I should hold back for the last week.

I hope Mo is there for the final promotion event at least. It just ain't right if he isn't. I've been following Aimee as she does promotions. She's freakin' cute when she responds to questions on seeing Mo do kiss scenes with other people.
