It moved toooooo quickly!! Maybe I feel this way because I watched all their scenes in one day. 😂😂😂
In ep 15, 16, and big part of 17, Matt and Me still treated each other as colleagues, neighbors, and friends (?). In ep17, they hit us with the cancer story and we, including Rex, saw Me's true feelings for Matt. At first I thought it was way too soon and over the top, but if you think about it, if they dragged the whole cancer thing then this show would become a melodrama. I liked how they ended the ep showing Matt's issue was just his good old gout. I laughed. 🙊
In ep18, Matt, Kiki, and Kei attended their friend's funeral. Matt mentioned their friend wanted his ashes to be scattered on land to grow longan. Kiki and Kei both said they wanted to be mango and that maybe because mango shaved ice was their go to food when they were having their "relationship". Matt said he wanted to be buried under a lot of paklan and after saying it looked content. I would like to think it's because everything important to him is connected to the flower and that also includes Me because if you remember, she smells like it. Is that a reach? 😅
In ep19, Rex suggested he and Me take a break in their relationship. Rex said he saw a lot of love between Matt and Me. Nah, I don't think Rex saw enough to make such a judgement... He only saw Me crying when she thought Matt died and Matt, Me, and Hin Hin happily shopping like a family. That's only two times. I feel like the writers should've included more incidences or at least have Me mention Matt more frequently on their dates. Hmm, ok, I guess I can see how the way she cried made him feel that way. In this ep, we finally know the writer's intention of having Matt keep the mattress. But seriously why is he not returning it when Me already bought her own?? I don't know why I'm so fixated on this lol. We also saw a new woman in Matt's life. Me immediately thought that she's his new girlfriend - I sensed a tad bit of jealousy hehe.
Finally ep20!! Firstly, Me found out that the woman living in Matt's home is his niece, but she was still adamant that she won't date Matt. However, next day in the elevator her eyes were 😍😍😍. She's so freakin' cute! They have to work on a new project together and I just love their interactions. Chemistry 💯!! Me officially broke up with Rex. She told him that all along there's someone else in her heart; he understands her the most; and was always there to support her when she needed it most. It's so nice to finally hear her say those words!! 😭😭 However, she still won't tell Matt her feelings. In the end, Matt is the one who confessed. The whole falling in the pool was a bit cheesy for me lol. Can we not have Mo go into water anymore please 🙏. You know the man has hair problems 🙈. So Ali has only ever kissed mustache Mo... All 3 shows they've been paired together, he had a mustache. Must be uncomfortable, but in my opinion, mustache Mo is the sexiest Mo 😉😇. Well just this kinda facial hair.
Now I don't know what to expect in the upcoming episodes. Only 10 left! From filming and preview photos, it looks like there'll be ups and downs in the relationship. Maybe because Matt has issues with commitment? I only ask for as many sweet interactions as possible!! 🙏😭
Off topic: I think TVB Awards Presentation is this Sunday? Not sure about Mo's chances of winning anything this year, but it's ok. I'm more concerned about them doing another big event when Coronavirus is still out there and there's a new strain. Sigh.
